The bootcamps are not assigned formal credit nor do they confer a qualification accredited on any framework. However, you will receive a digital certificate of completion from HyperionDev in partnership with Stellenbosch University once you complete the bootcamp.

For part-time participants, we recommend dedicating a minimum of 8 hours per week to complete the bootcamp within 6 months. This allows individuals to study while working a full-time job.

For full-time participants, we suggest dedicating a minimum of 16 hours per week to complete the bootcamp within 3 months.

The bootcamps are designed to be flexible to your learning needs and goals. If you find yourself pressed for time, you have the option to extend your bootcamp duration.

The aim is to make quality education achievable for everyone, so feel free to reach out to our admissions team for personalised guidance on pricing and payment options. Additionally, you can refer to the courses page for the cost of each bootcamp.

For the bootcamps, you will need a reliable internet connection and a computer or laptop capable of running the necessary software for coding. However, don’t worry if you lack prior coding experience or a technical background. Many participants successfully transition to tech careers after completing a bootcamp, regardless of their starting point. The bootcamps are designed to accommodate beginners, providing comprehensive support and guidance. All you need is discipline, persistence and a willingness to work hard and learn to code.

Online: For online applications the first step is registering on our site and filling in your application with the required information. Thereafter, you must ensure that you have booked a call with admissions and spoken to a consultant to discuss your motivations and suitability. Once you have done this, you may begin the free trial to evaluate your coding skills.

After completing the free trial, you will receive a sufficient application mark to enrol in a bootcamp. A trial mentor will provide you with feedback on your application outcome.

If you miss the registration deadline, don't worry. Each bootcamp starts new cohorts monthly, so you can easily join the next one.

Upon completion of the bootcamp programme, a certificate of completion may be issued in the name of HyperionDev and Stellenbosch University. This certificate is neither a formal, accredited programme nor a course of Stellenbosch University, and will not provide access to or recognition of learning for such programmes or courses.
